PROJECT: ROOT(ED) (Environmental Justice Course)
INTENTION: Demystify the meaning of sustainability by examining its roots and intersections with environmentalism, climate change, capitalism, and systemic racism. Created in partnership with Byas&Leon, this community-centered curriculum reclaims sustainability from corporate buzzword status and grounds it in lived experience, cultural knowledge, and radical care for the Earth. ROOT(ED) invites people to learn, reflect, and take action – offering free monthly classes that equip participants with tools to live more harmoniously with the planet and one another.
