This piece invites readers into an intimate conversation that traverses her iconic roles—from His House to Loki—while exploring themes of identity, responsibility, and healing. As Creative Director, the visual language was designed to mirror Wunmi’s multidimensional presence: soft yet powerful, grounded yet transformative. The creative direction emphasized natural textures, tonal warmth, and a wardrobe that spoke to Black femininity, resilience, and futurism.

INTENTION: Rooted in heritage, healing, and honesty, Hanahana Beauty was born from a desire to feel confident in one’s skin while redefining beauty from the inside out. Inspired by generational wellness rituals and the power of shea, this launch centers a clean skincare line crafted with care – from fair trade sourcing with the Katariga Women’s Shea Cooperative in Ghana to consciously chosen natural ingredients. As Founder Abena Boamah Acheampong says, “Nkuto was the answer for everything growing up.” Now, it’s a movement. This launch invites consumers to reconnect with ancestral wisdom, embrace their natural beauty, and experience skincare that nourishes more than skin – it uplifts women of color, transparency, and collective care.
